Pages under the virtual root page "posts" are indexed when a post is validated (done through an observer), but this is not done for pages in the categories and archives virtual trees.
The main consequence is that theses pages are not available in the search service.

However, all of theses pages will be indexed if a live rebuilt for the site is done, hence the inconsistencies.
