The ValidationStepFunction add a validation property on a step, but this change is not saved.

This issue blocks the CONTENTIO-161 because the CreateVersionFunction is now called after this ValidationStepFunction to do a checkpoint. The checkpoint fails because there are pending changes

Other use of the ValidationStepFunction are not followed by checkpoints, so we do not have problems elsewhere
