I affect this to Caroline because the refactor of meta will imply to rewrite the editcontentfunction, and she will need to know that only this method is correctly implemented!

Done for content values. See _bindAndValidateContentReferenceMetadata method in EditContentFunction.
(today we only drag&drop content values).

Should be also done for others types of metadata (date, string, long, ...)
