      <allowEdition>false</allowEdition><!-- tmp fix cause edition is ugly -->
      in web plugin.xml

      and the following fixes :
      1) this value should be read as Boolean/String vs currently as Boolean only
      2) this value was not transmetted to the grid
      3) the gris was having an issue when set to false
