there is an audio gallery for mp3
merging video and audio in a single gallery seems to odd to me

I'm voting for prohibiting mp3 or... accepting it anyway even if it is called video...

Multimedia/video gallery accepts inserting mp3 files, which may be why it was named "multimedia".
Either an mp3 file should not be accepted, and "video gallery" is a valid name, or both mp3 and swf/flv video files are valid, and the content should be renamed back to "multimedia gallery".
