How to reproduce :

• using the demo repository, tag the glossary page with the glossary tag
• add a term to the glossary (I tried with panaïs, Goyave with variant Gùya & véña and patate)
• check that it is configured to be highlighted in the contents
• add this word and another one that was already in the glossary in a article
• preview the content
  > the new term of the glossary has no link and it is not highlighted whereas the old one is
