Wrong date display in english version

      Currently for a start date of a news content is displayed:
      "The January 31, 2013"

      whereas it should be

      "31st January 2013"

      "st" should be displayed after 1, 21, and 31
      "nd" after 2 and 22
      "rd" after 3 and 23
