This behaviour can be reproduced on thematics on workspaces.
1/ Create a new thematic "Thematic1" with red color for instance and click on "OK" button.
2/ Create another new thematic "Thematic2" and open the color picker :
Red color is automatically filled whereas no color should be selected
(the selected color matches with the same color as previous selected color) :
