The select user and select group boxes should be configurable with a UsersManager/GroupsManager role, that is passed as a parameter to the search users/group runtime pipeline.
When the role is provided, the generator looks it up and generates the users with it. When it's not, fallback to the default UsersManager/GroupsManager (declared in the runtime.xml file).
