When application is misparametrized ou misconfigured it can't start and this lead to set the application in error mode...
In some cases this is due to configuration parameters : they should be still available

maybe the error mode should propose "If you think this error is due to your configuration parameter, click here to restart the application for configuration" that will set a flag, restart the application that will say "Configuration incomplete" to let the user try again...
