Inspired by what is done in JIRA and Confluence :
they have "users directories", and you can add, edit and remove user directories in the webapp.
Each directory has a type (LDAP, JDBC, ...) and configuration parameters.

This new user management model would have a huge benefit, as it allow to make any wanted combination, without having to develop another extension each time
