How to reproduce it : 

• open "Apps" tab of the user menu fixed on the right side of the screen
• then close this menu
• resize the window until the user menu is moved at the bottom of the window
• open again the "Apps" tab
• Apps have desapeared. 

This does not occured if the window is resized while the user menu is still opened
