In the Synchronization configuration, LDAP unique ID should not be case sensitive (it's not case sensitve on population settings, so it shouldn't be on sync settings).

For instance my Unique id LDAP field is sAMAccountName, the sync should work if I enter samaccountname in the settings for LDAP Login.
